title: The Cross and the Christian
description: On the cross, Jesus of Nazareth died a gruesome death. Yet the Bible says that His death brought salvation. How can this be? In this reading plan, we’ll consider not just the fact of the cross but also its significance. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died as a sacrifice for sin to bring forgiveness to human beings. Through faith in the crucified and risen Savior, we may have peace.
